ABOUT THE GLC
The Gene Lucas Community Center (GLC) is operated by the ERV Community Center Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving people of all ages in the Eel River Valley Our 23,000-square-foot center on a 28-acre campus is a welcoming place to learn, connect, and thrive.

We support people of all ages in the Eel River Valley in the pursuit of art, education, health, and wellness.
How We Support Our Community
We offer our own programs like our 0-5 Playgroup and Ollie’s Kitchen, our youth cooking program, we host community events, and partner with local organizations to bring essential services to our region.

The GLC is also home to partners including the McLean Foundation, Humboldt Senior Resource Center, Reaching for Independence, Remi Vista, and many others.
