Ollie’s Kitchen Youth Cooking Class
Ollie’s Kitchen is here.
We’re excited to launch a new series of kids cooking classes at the Gene Lucas Community Center. Each class gives kids the chance to learn basic kitchen skills, try something new, and make something they’re proud to bring home or enjoy.
Our first series includes:
- Edible Arrangements for Mother’s Day
- Italian Dinner
Classes are offered for ages 6–10 and 11–17 on separate days, so each group gets an experience designed just for them.
All classes are taught by Angie from Dorris and Daughter Catering, bringing her experience and love of cooking to each session.
The cost to participate is $10 per class. If cost is a concern, we are happy to help make sure your child can still join. Just reach out to layla@glccenter.org and we will take care of the rest.
Thank you to the Humboldt Area Foundation for supporting this program through their Community Health Grant and helping make these opportunities available to local youth.
