Participants will be introduced to Humboldt’s nonprofit Media Resource, Access Humboldt and given a walkthrough of free and available resources and how media can enhance their nonprofit/organization to better engage with their community. We will touch on media literacy and how they can better use and utilize local news and information to better serve Humboldt County. Lastly, we’ll cover easy ways to get involved with community media and to better platform your nonprofit/organization.

$20 registration fee – proceeds go to support the work of NorCAN and Access Humboldt resources involved in the workshop.
