SUMMARY:Ollie's Kitchen Youth Cooking Class
DESCRIPTION:Ollie’s Kitchen is here. \nWe’re excited to launch a new series of kids cooking classes at the Gene Lucas Community Center. Each class gives kids the chance to learn basic kitchen skills\, try something new\, and make something they’re proud to bring home or enjoy. \nOur first series includes: \n\nEdible Arrangements for Mother’s Day\nItalian Dinner\n\nClasses are offered for ages 6–10 and 11–17 on separate days\, so each group gets an experience designed just for them. \nAll classes are taught by Angie from Dorris and Daughter Catering\, bringing her experience and love of cooking to each session. \nThe cost to participate is $10 per class. If cost is a concern\, we are happy to help make sure your child can still join. Just reach out to layla@glccenter.org and we will take care of the rest. \nThank you to the Humboldt Area Foundation for supporting this program through their Community Health Grant and helping make these opportunities available to local youth. \nSpots are limited. It’s a relaxed space to create and connect. \nFree to all. All ages welcome.Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
